Refund Policy

Highlands Sports Centre (HSC)

A legal disclaimer

At Highlands Sports Centre, we are committed to delivering high-quality coaching, programs, and facilities. To ensure fairness and sustainability for our club, the following refund policy applies to all memberships, class packages, and services.

1. Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced.

  • This includes unlimited memberships, family memberships, and class-based memberships.

  • Memberships may be cancelled in accordance with the notice period outlined in the membership agreement, but no refunds will be issued for unused time.

2. Class Packages & Casual Sessions

  • Class packs and casual visits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Expiry dates apply and will not be extended due to non-attendance, personal schedule changes, or holidays.

3. Missed Classes

  • No refunds or credits are provided for missed classes due to:

    • Illness

    • Travel

    • School commitments

    • Personal or family reasons

  • We encourage members with unlimited memberships to attend alternative classes within their age group where appropriate.

4. Medical Suspensions

  • In cases of long-term medical injury or illness, memberships may be paused upon receipt of a valid medical certificate.

  • Pauses are applied at the club’s discretion and do not apply retroactively.

  • Short-term illnesses do not qualify for refunds or credits.

5. Program Changes & Timetable Adjustments

  • Highlands Sports Centre reserves the right to:

    • Modify class times

    • Change instructors

    • Adjust programs

    • Cancel classes when necessary

  • These changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Duplicate charges

  • Administrative errors by HSC

Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method and may incur an administrative fee.

7. Club Closures

  • Temporary closures due to public holidays, facility maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for refunds.

  • Extended closures will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

​

8. Acceptance of Policy

By purchasing a membership, class package, or casual visit, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
